Gretchen Fetchem is a piñata huntress and will track down any species of piñata that the player previously had as resident, even if they did not obtain the Reside award for the piñata. She runs her personal store and services, Gretchen Fetchem's.

Background

Gretchen is a huntress who captures piñatas as a hobby, and will sell them to gardeners at its level value. She lives on Piñata Island within the Village where she helps gardeners earn their desired piñata.

Appearance

Gretchen wears a two-pieced purple, lavender, and pink dress with rectangular designs. Her upper piece has a pink heart and long sleeves that act as a second pair of arms. Like most other residents of Piñata Island, Gretchen wears a mask, which is green and purple with big white eyes that dangles a candy, which is assumed to be bait. Underneath the mask, Gretchen has brunette hair tied up in a ponytail, and pink and slim lips.

Viva Piñata: Pocket Paradise

In Viva Piñata: Pocket Paradise she appears after you gotten Gardener level 3 at 12%. In it, she also sells accessories for certain piñatas, as well as manages the Post Office by herself, which replaces the functionality of Miss Petula and Fannie Franker respectively, who both do not appear in the game.

Errors

In the original Viva Piñata, the text says: "It's getting late. Best time for hunting. Need anything while I'm out?", but Gretchen says "Hey, got some work for me? I'm starting to get itchy feet here."
